Airport Senior Manager of Information Systems - Enterprise Systems and Applications The Department of Aviation is seeking highly qualified candidates to apply for the position of Airport Senior Manager of Information Systems - Enterprise Systems and Applications (ESA). In this leadership role, the successful candidate will be critical to the technological innovation at Harry Reid International Airport and its General Aviation facilities. Reporting to the Managing Director of Information Technology responsible for the Project Management Office, the successful candidate will advance IT development and operations through specialized teams in three core areas: Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Enterprise Systems, and Application Development. We seek a forward-thinking leader with deep enterprise systems expertise who can: Architect and implement next-generation applications while managing release cycles and user adoption. Leverage advanced GIS capabilities to revolutionize spatial data management and enhance operation. Orchestrate strategic budget allocation and create technology roadmaps aligned with department demand and aviation industry evolution. Lead digital workflow transformation initiatives that propel us toward a future-ready workplace. Embrace modernization, establish new standards, and deliver seamless integrations. Your Leadership Will Be Instrumental In: Building high-performing technical teams through mentorship and a culture of innovation. Strengthening stakeholder ecosystems across the division leaders, federal partners, tenants, and vendors. This role demands a strategic thinker who combines enterprise systems mastery with transformational leadership to elevate our airport's technological capabilities and passenger experience to new heights. Your expertise will be crucial in positioning Harry Reid International Airport at the forefront of aviation technology innovation. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field and five (5) years of full-time related professional experience in an airport or a setting related to the assigned work area; two (2) years of which were at a supervisory level. An equivalent combination of education and closely related management experience may be considered. An advanced degree is preferred. Working Conditions: May be required to flex work hours on occasion and attend meetings outside of normal working hours as needed. Specified positions in this title may work with exposure to potential hazards on the airfield, construction sites or other airport locations. Licensing and Certification: Must possess a valid Nevada Class C driver's license at time of appointment. Medical Examination: Employment in specified positions in this title may be contingent upon the results of a pre-employment medical examination. Drug Testing: Employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug examination. Residency Requirement: Permanent employees must maintain a principal place of residency within the boundaries of Clark County and provide proof of compliance with Nevada motor vehicle registration and drivers' license laws within 90 days of employment. Citizenship: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note, Clark County does not provide H1B visa sponsorships or transfers for any employment positions. Background Check: Employment with the Department of Aviation is contingent upon completion of an education/experience background investigation, a fingerprint-based criminal history record check processed by the FBI, and upon the ability to be granted a security badge as mandated by the Transportation Security Administration. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Mobility to work in a typical office setting, use standard office equipment and to travel to various locations in order to attend meetings and visit work sites; strength and stamina to inspect various work sites, projects, and facilities; vision to read printed materials, a computer screen, handheld electronic devices, and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone or radio.
