Artis Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Director of Health & Wellness (ADHW) to support care delivery in a resident-centered memory care community. *This is a Search for one of HDGs Clients* What You'll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers ?) Support Clinical Operations & Compliance: - Assist the Director of Health & Wellness (DHW) in managing daily clinical operations, including care plan oversight, medication management, and team coordination.
- Conduct routine chart audits, medication cart reviews, and environmental rounds to ensure safety, documentation accuracy, and compliance with state and Artis standards.
- Serve as a resource for resident move-ins, assessments, and evaluations, ensuring high-quality transitions and person-centered care.
Champion Resident Care & Wellness: - Collaborate with the DHW, Community Integration, and Culinary teams to promote holistic care and support resident well-being.
- Notify families and responsible parties of changes in condition, incidents, and care updates.
- Support vaccination clinics and ensure residents' nutritional and hydration needs are met.
Lead & Mentor Care Teams: - Provide leadership and guidance to health and wellness associates, ensuring schedules, staffing, and team dynamics are managed effectively.
- Assist with training, in-services, and Med Tech education programs, ensuring associates meet all competency requirements.
- Foster a team environment that emphasizes compassion, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Enhance Resident & Family Engagement: - Act as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers, promoting open communication and excellent service.
- Support the DHW in care conferences and family meetings, ensuring concerns are addressed professionally and promptly.
- Represent Artis philosophy by honoring each resident's story and individuality in care delivery.
Promote Safety, Ethics & Quality: - Monitor and maintain infection control, OSHA, and safety standards in the health and wellness department.
- Assist in ensuring adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in internal audits and quality assurance efforts to support excellence in clinical outcomes.
What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Passion for Resident Care ) Education & Credentials: - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current LPN or RN license (based on state regulations).
Experience & Leadership: - 2+ years of experience in assisted living, memory care, or healthcare settings.
- Prior experience in supervisory or team leadership roles strongly preferred.
Skills & Abilities: - Strong clinical judgment, time management, and communication skills.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems (ALIS preferred) and basic computer applications.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
Team Culture & Ethics: - Commitment to resident-centered care and fostering positive team morale.
- Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation and provide support on evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
