Relief Tanker Driver - Local and Short Haul - Up To $26/Hour - Mattawan, MI

$24.50 -$26.00 per Hour

Local and Short-Haul - Covering for Spotter Shifts As Needed

Duties:

Actively communicate with and take direction from supervisor.
Deliver Local, and Short-Haul loads.
Drive short and local distances to deliver goods.
Spot trucks including driving on public roadways.
Observes and adheres to proper DOT pre-trip and post trip of all equipment.
Always operates equipment in a safe manner.
Required to work alternate shifts, weekends and during emergency situations.
May assist with loading and unloading of cargo.
Refuel and clean vehicle.
Follow traffic laws.
Inspect trucks and record issues.
Follow accident procedures.
Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
Move trailers.
Maintain a positive attitude with customers.
Keep commercial driver license and DOT physical up to date.

Job Requirements:

Tanker Endorsement Required
One year Class A commercial driving experience.
Current Class A commercial driver’s license.
Meet Ralph Moyle, Inc. Driver Qualification Standards.
Meet all DOT requirements.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Team player.
Flexible hours.
Weekend and night hours.
Variable hours of work.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Wage Range: 24.50 - 26.00 per hour
