Now Hiring: Construction Superintendent (CapEx Renovations) | Kapella Group / Global Construction | Centennial, CO

Kapella Group / Global Construction is a leading general contractor specializing in Capital Expenditure (CapEx) renovations for commercial and multifamily properties across CO, FL, AZ, WA, KS, and TX. We are seeking an experienced Renovations Superintendent to manage occupied renovation projects ranging from $150K to $10 million. This role is based in our Florida division and requires a strong background in multifamily housing, senior living facilities, hotels, and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site construction operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety on CapEx renovation projects.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and performance goals, collaborating closely with project management.
• Supervise and mentor subcontractors, trades, and staff.
• Manage all trades, including earthwork, foundations, framing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, roofing, drywall, painting, and finishes.
• Maintain and coordinate a reliable network of subcontractors for smooth project execution.
• Ensure continuous workflow by monitoring construction methods, materials, and inventory.
• Proactively address on-site challenges and emergencies.
• Enforce safety regulations and cleanliness standards across the project site.
• Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial CapEx renovation with a general contractor, preferably in occupied renovations.
• Expertise in multifamily, senior living, and hospitality interior renovations.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with effective delegation and motivation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Proficiency in construction methods, materials, and regulatory compliance.
• Skilled in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and proactive project management.
• Experience managing a network of reliable subcontractors and coordinating various trades.
• Familiarity with project scheduling software and Bluebeam preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.
