The primary purpose of the Laundry Attendant position is to ensure that our linens, towels, and laundry services meet the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. The Laundry Attendant will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: Receiving and organizing clean linen from an external laundry service. Properly storing and maintaining linens in the designated laundry area. Delivering fresh linens to housekeeping closets on each floor. Organizing housekeeping carts to ensure room attendants have the necessary supplies. Transporting and stocking housekeeping supplies in storage areas. Washing and organizing banquet linens, cleaning cloths, pool towels, and other necessary laundry items. Cleaning and organizing in-room water glasses for distribution on housekeeping carts. Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. Qualifications include 6 months to 1-year prior hotel or other applicable cleaning experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, physical ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally and 20lbs regularly, bend and squat repeatedly, and walk and stand for the duration of the scheduled shift. Flexibility to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
