Pay: $70-$75/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic outpatient team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting, focusing on pre-operative and post-operative care, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Job duties include medication administration, health education, medication refill line, clozapine tracking, health assessments, prior authorizations/insurance calls, vital signs, and other duties associated with ambulatory clinic nursing.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapy and wound care.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide post-procedure care and education.
• Educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Coordinate follow-up care and ensure continuity of care across the healthcare system.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Licensure:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State]

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

     

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting
