OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT)

Location: Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Abilene, Abilene, TX

Positions: Full Time and PRN available

This is your chance to fully utilize your knowledge, skills, ambition, and experience every day. Inspire our patients to progress as you:

• Effectively delegate tasks and supervise occupational therapist assistants and technicians.
• Provide occupational therapy treatment and patient care in accordance with hospital, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain open communication with hospital departments to ensure all needs are met.

Credentials:

• Current state licensure or certification required by your first day of employment.
• CPR certification preferred, unless otherwise required by hospital policy.
• Successful completion of a degree from an accredited therapy program or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Demonstrated competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment.
