Job Description

Join THSL, The Home Staging Label, a rapidly expanding home staging business, in a unique opportunity to work directly as the business owner's assistant. In this pivotal support role, your precise organization and computer-based skills will be instrumental in enabling the seamless transformation of properties. You'll be at the heart of our day-to-day success, ensuring efficiency and contributing to the flawless execution of multiple projects, allowing our creative vision to come to life beautifully as THSL expands. Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Logistics Management

  • Systematically organize and manage inventory, including tracking items, coordinating shipments, and processing returns.
  • Maintain accurate records of receipts for comprehensive financial tracking.
  • Assist with purchasing, including researching, sourcing, and ordering furniture, decor, and supplies.

Digital & Administrative Support

  • Update and maintain the company website to reflect current inventory and recent projects.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of past projects to analyze outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Organize and manage email correspondence, prioritizing inventory updates and shipment logistics.
  • Support the planning and organization of the daily schedule.
  • Utilize and assist with specialized software tools (e.g., Foyr) for various projects and presentations.

On-Site Assistance

  • Ability to travel to various locations within Brooklyn and Manhattan is essential for this role.
  • Provide in-person support on staging days, which may include assisting with furniture placement, decor arrangement, and taking measurements.

Qualifications

  • A strong interest in home staging, or prior experience in a creative domain.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel; willingness and aptitude to quickly learn new programs (prior experience with Foyr is a significant plus).
  • Outstanding organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to multitask and seamlessly manage and prioritize effectively across multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Basic understanding of purchasing and inventory management principles.
  • Eagerness to learn practical skills, including taking precise measurements.
  • Ability to lift / move minor furniture and decorative items: 15-40 lbs

Additional Information

  • Compensation: $22 an hour
  • Work Arrangement: This hybrid role requires approximately 75% remote work and 25% in-person presence, primarily on staging days.
