Job Description

Start Here! A Ft. Recovery manufacturer has several Production Machine Operator jobs open on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Starting pay is $15 per hour but increases to $18 per hour, after a 90 day evaluation period. These 8 hour jobs run 2:30PM-10:50PM or 10:30PM-6:50AM.

You will operate any of multiple machine work centers, meeting part quality specifications. Operators will also check parts for quality including gaging and visual checks. Operators set-up and make adjustments to work centers as required by the production schedule.

Duties to include:

• Operates trim press machine trimming a variety of either zinc or aluminum castings.
• Performs inspect/pack operations.
• Performs quality visual checks, may have to use different gages to check uniformity.
• Monitors and tracks scrapped parts.
• Operates auxiliary equipment (mini-vibe, part marker, etc.) .
• Performs rework tasks such as sorting, repacking, filing, gaging, etc.
• Maintains and follows all safety practices.
• Maintains good housekeeping of assigned area using 5S principles.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Your Own Transportation
• A Clean Background with NO Felony Conviction
• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to Pass an Employment Drug Screen
• A Solid Work History, NO Gaps
• Previous Manufacturing Experience Preferred.
• Forklift Certification is Preferred.
• Must possess basic tech skills, including an ability to work with computers.
• Must be able read, write, understand and follow written and oral instructions
