Salesforce Administrator Role We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to join our team who can also take on some development work. As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions tailored to our business needs. Your expertise in Salesforce development will play a crucial role in optimizing our Salesforce platform and supporting our organizational objectives. Here’s how you’ll be making an impact: Salesforce Administration: Participate in the development and customization efforts on the Salesforce platform, focusing primarily on supporting the Lead to Live domain. Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability. Customization and Configuration: Customize Salesforce functionalities to align with business requirements, including custom objects, fields, flows, and automation. Flow Optimization: Optimize existing flows for performance, scalability, and maintainability, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Testing and Deployment: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce solutions. Manage deployments across sandboxes and production environments, following established release processes. Documentation and Training: Create documentation, technical specifications, and user guides for implemented solutions. Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders as needed. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce technologies, trends, and best practices. Evaluate new features and functionalities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. We’re looking for a teammate with: 5+ years of experience in a Salesforce admin or developer role with a strong portfolio of successful Salesforce implementations. Proficiency in Salesforce declarative capabilities with Flows. Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs. Experience with Salesforce integration tools (e.g., Talend, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) and third-party integrations. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, Agile practices preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to be comfortable in a distributed, diverse environment; ability to work remotely and independently; prioritize tasks and collaborate with others to ensure that work is done in a timely manner, with a sharp eye for quality and scale. Familiarity with JIRA and agile work management. Experience with Technical Support. Salesforce Certified Administrator, Certified Developer, Certified Salesforce CPQ Specialist or other Salesforce certifications are a plus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $95,000 – 115,000 CDN per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
