Our Houston client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 10 to 15 years of experience in industrial onshore and offshore design, specifically in structural steel and foundation design.

The ideal candidate will have a Professional Engineers License or Engineer in Training Certificate.

A Licensed Professional Structural Engineer (SE) designation is preferred.

• Oversee and guide junior engineers and designers.
• Work independently to create a complete design package with minimal supervision.
• Develop detailed plans and drawings according to project specifications.
• Industrial and offshore design experience is preferred.
• Field experience is desirable.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Perform calculations, review designs, and complete design tasks.
• Knowledge of U.S. Codes and standards required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited university (required).
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Licensed Senior Structural Engineer (S.E. License).
• 10 to 15 years of experience in industrial, oil and gas, and/or marine structures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance.
• Proficient in relevant software (MS Office, Teams, and structural analysis programs); experience with Risa/SACS is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional and detail-oriented.
• Professional Engineer License or Engineer in Training Certificate (required).
