Job Description

Codeworks is an IT Services firm headquartered in SE Wisconsin, known for our strong commitment to quality and for our direct client relationships.

Who We’re Looking For:

A Senior Technical Writer for a 6 month contract with potential for hire to work in the office 3-5 days per week on NW side of Milwaukee.

Responsibilities:

Use mechanical skills to read mechanical drawings and go into the lab to look at boilers and prototypes.

Use Interpersonal skills to interview and have independent discussions with stakeholders to get information.

Write documentation professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Requires experience with FrameMaker (structured preferred but not required)
  • Requires experience with a CMS (preferably DITA but other CMSs like Paligo or even MadCap would be ok)
  • Graphics – Adobe Illustrator and photoshop
  • Experience with CMS conversions a strong plus
  • Experience with style sheets a plus
  • SharePoint experience a plus
