About the Role: Student Talent Manager

As the Student Talent Manager (STM) , you will play a pivotal role in executing and managing co-curricular and out-of-school programs that empower students to discover and pursue their passions. You will be the instructional and operational leader of Projects, overseeing every step from planning to execution, while reporting directly to the school’s Academy Leader (AL).

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Instructional Leadership: Lead all projects, ensuring ongoing data collection and regular feedback delivery.
  • Team Management: Directly manage external project leaders, including hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching.
  • Partnership Development: Cultivate relationships with external partners to ensure high-quality experiences for students.
  • Teacher Support: Influence and support teachers in leading or assisting projects.
  • Student Leadership: Guide student leaders and their faculty advisors in project planning and facilitation.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee logistics for competitive clubs attending tournaments.
  • Grant Stewardship: Manage the grant supporting Student Talent initiatives, including budget proposals and record-keeping.
  • Communications: Handle internal and external communications, including media releases about Student Talent successes.
  • Resource Management: Ensure projects have access to high-quality materials and manage their inventory.
  • Event Management: Plan and lead 2-3 whole-school events related to Student Talent.
  • Operational Systems: Create systems to manage the day-to-day operations of projects.

  • Experience in large project oversight from planning to execution, with accountability for results.
  • An entrepreneurial, creative mindset with a willingness to take bold actions to enhance programming quality.
  • Strong relationship management skills to influence and drive change across multiple stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • A calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
  • Proficiency in digital tools, including database management and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Preferred experience in managing others.
  • 2+ years of instructional or K-12 operational experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Compensation:

The salary for this role ranges from $58,000 to $100,000 , determined by factors such as relevant experience and education certifications. Candidates without full-time teaching experience will likely start at $58,000.

*Note: If starting before June 30, 2025, compensation will be based on a slightly lower range, with an increase on July 1, 2025, aligning with the new scale.
