Job Description & RequirementsA Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to support patients in achieving independence in daily activities. Responsibilities include assisting with therapeutic exercises, providing hands-on treatment, and educating patients on adaptive strategies. COTAs document patient progress and work in settings such as hospitals, rehab centers, and nursing facilities.
