This position manages the site quality organization including Quality Engineering, Quality Program Mangers, Inspection, Configuration Management, and Quality System Management. Your Mission Oversee Quality Management System with associated processes and procedures Manage the site quality organization including Quality Engineering, Quality Program Mangers, Inspection, Configuration Management, and Quality System Management Recruitment and training of quality personnel Plan, coordinate and, when necessary, perform Product and Quality Assurance tasks in projects Responsible for internal and external audits Primary contact to the auditing organization and the certifying body for AS9100 certification Accreditation AS9100 responsibility for the plant Support hardware certification efforts Contribution to the maintaining of the manufacturing execution system (MRP / ERP) Define KPIs and develop reports to track system performance Acts as interface between the European based Global Quality Function, the US Quality Org and the US customers Close coordination of activities with the local management team, in particular with the Production Operations Manager and Supply Chain Manager Lead and develop the team in accordance with the company values as well as business strategy and goals Lead and develop the team to create high engagement, good work environment and positive team spirit Develop and encourage the culture of openness in the organization with a special focus on diversity aspects Your Story Bachelor's degree or extensive relevant experience 8+ yrs professional experience in production and/or manufacturing with focus on quality 5+ years supervision experience preferred Familiarity with quality standards and processes to follow federal, state and local regulations Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings, and status reports Knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards Attention to detail Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and pose solutions to those flaws Interpersonal skills Ability to handle stress SAP experience preferred Knowledge of composite materials and processes, preferred Are you ready for lift-off?
